Wakefield and Calderdale police officers take home a number of awards.
DCI Darren Minton of the Calderdale District and PC Simon Ragsdale, John Harvey and PC Julian Siviter all from the Wakefield District took home awards.
Dee Collins, Temporary Chief Constable at West Yorkshire Police, said: “I have tremendous pride in our workforce and volunteers who all contribute to keeping communities safe and feeling safe.

“I would like to congratulate everyone that was involved.”
The Chief Constable also recognised the work the whole force does on a day-to-day basis while working with the community in their attempt to reduce and prevent crime.
West Yorkshire’s newly re-elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson, praised the force saying West Yorkshire has some of the ‘greatest policing’.
He said: “These awards highlight the fantastic work carried out by officers and staff every day to ensure our communities remain safe.
