Train services are being cancelled for the next hour at least after a signal failure in Wakefield
Services heading from and towards Wakefield Westgate are disrupted, according to Northern.
They say the problem is unlikely to be resolved before 8am, the company has said.
Passengers are being advised to check lives timetables before travelling.
