Miner’s gala at National Mining Museum
Activities for all the family will be on offer at the National Coal Mining Museum’s miners’ gala on Sunday (today).
The gala will feature crafts, music and dance as well as rides on extraordinary bikes and more conventional sports day races. There will aslo be falconry displays and horse shoe-making demonstrations. The event, at the museum on New Road, Overton, takes place between 10am and 4.45pm.
