Elizabeth became good friends with Ellis and mum Laura Pearman after meeting on Ward 31 at Leeds General Infirmary, where their sons received treatment together after both children suffered the same diagnosis.
Elizabeth's son Rueben sadly lost his battle to cancer three months ago.
Elizabeth said: "From one mother to another mother no one should have to endure this suffering and pain.
"I hope through my own loss I can help a little.

"One day they will be reunited in a better place where there's no suffering, just freedom and happiness.
"Laura is so strong. She won't feel like she is but she shows how strong she is just getting through everyday and remaining Ellis's rock."
The family will be celebrating Christmas day on Tuesday, September 8 and are urging the public to send Christmas cards to fill Ellis's house.
