Final closing date for Wakefield and Leeds Debenhams stores confirmed as new bargains announced
The ill-fated department store confirmed last year that it was preparing to "wind down business" after JD Sports pulled out of rescue talks, putting around 12,000 jobs at risk.
Online retailer Boohoo later purchased the 243-year-old department store in a £55m deal, but confirmed it did not plan to maintain any stores.

And further bargains will be introduced from tomorrow (Wednesday), with up to 80% off fashion and at least 50% off everything across the store.
But a spokesperson for the store has now confirmed the final closing date for 25 stores, including those in Wakefield and Leeds.
A spokesperson for Debenhams said: “Our stock is flying off the shelves and it’s no surprise with such great bargains available. Time is running out for shoppers to take advantage of the incredible discounts being offered at these 25 stores.”
