FEATHERSTONE Rovers will be without Jason Walton (knee) and Chris Ulugia (shoulder) for their opening Championship game against Halifax at LD Nutrition Stadium on February 4.
Both players are recovering from operations after missing the end of last season.
Rovers coach John Duffy old The Express: “Chris Ulugia will hopefully be back in action by March.
“The only other long-term one we’ve got at the moment is Jason Walton. He’s had his operation and he’s probably looking around Easter time to get back. It was a bad injury.
“Ian Hardman will have a minor clean out operation but he’ll only be out for a week or so.
“Misi Taulapapa and Chris Ulugia are back home at the moment and they will be with us in a week or so.
“Frankie Mariano has been given a bit of time off after playing for Scotland in the World Cup so he’ll be back with us in a couple of weeks.”
Rovers players will take to the stage in a ‘Fev Factor’ competition in the Cappers Bar at LD Nutrition Stadium on Saturday, December 16 (7.30pm start).
A judging panel will work alongside supporters to decide the top three live acts who will then fight it out to be crowned the winner.
Tickets cost £10 per person and include a pie and peas supper, karaoke, access to a cocktail bar and a raffle.
Supporters will have a chance to meet and greet the 2018 Rovers squad as head coach Duffy acts as compere for the evening.
