FRICKLEY Athletic were left all at sea in the Evo-Stik Premier Division relegation spots after suffering a 1-0 home loss against Marine.
Nick Rogan netted the winner for the visitors with 15 minutes to go to leave the Blues second from bottom and two points adrift of safety.
The Blues had their chances, notably from the spot in the second-half but Brad Grayson saw his penalty well saved.
It changed the game and Marine, visibly lifted by the spot-kick miss, grew in confidence to snatch all three points.
Both teams ended the match with ten men as substitute and debutant Craig Nelthorpe saw red just nine minutes after his introduction for a lunge on Neil Harvey. Marine’s Paul Lundon also received his marching orders for collecting a second yellow in the fracas that followed.
