Castleford Tigers has renewed its sponsorship agreement with custom moulding company AJ Glassfibre.

The Castleford-based company’s logo will be emblazoned on the sleeve of the Tigers’ playing shirts throughout the 2014 Super League season.

It means that AJ Glassfibre, who supply components to the commercial vehicle, construction, general engineering, leisure and airport utility industries, will enter into their seventh year as commercial partners of the club and their fourth consecutive year as a kit sponsor.

After two seasons of pitchside advertising AJ Glassfibre first featured on the Tigers’ kits in 2010 when they became a short sponsor. The following season they featured on the shirts for the first time when they occupied the one of the rear sponsor spots and they have been sleeve sponsors for the past two seasons.

Mark Grattan, Tigers’ commercial director said: “We are delighted that AJ Glassfibre has decided to renew their sponsorship agreement with the club and be a part of the growing family of kit sponsors for next season.

“This is an important deal because AJ Glassfibre’s continued support of the club demonstrates how valuable kit sponsorship of Castleford Tigers can be for businesses.

“We are fortunate to have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with them so far and we look forward to that continuing.”

Andrew Mallinson, managing director of AJ Glassfibre, said: “We offer all our customers high quality components and service and it’s those same standards that we receive from our commercial ventures with Castleford Tigers.

“We have benefitted from the exposure gained from aligning ourselves with a club which boasts such a tremendous history and hopefully our support will help the club compete at the top end of rugby league in the future.”
