Featherstone Rovers stage their fourth annual community gala day on Bank Holiday Monday (May 6).

Gates open at 11am and events will continue until the evening with a wide range of entertainment and attractions.

Laurabeth Jaggar, gala organiser and Rovers head of community development, said: “The community day has become a staple event in our calendar and annual celebrations are now attracting more and more attendees.

“We chose May Day as it as it is day when we can have the whole facility at the club and really go to town on the event. We have so much lined up for our supporters and the wider community to take part in. It is a day when we can give back to the community but also raise awareness and celebrate the work of the Featherstone Rovers Foundation.

“I am delighted that our coaching staff, first team, under 23’s, scholarships and ladies team have all got into the spirit of the day and volunteered to take part and help with our activities to provide a truly memorable day. The gates are open to everyone and we hope to see the Big Fellas Stadium packed out with families”.
