FEATHERSTONE Rovers have signed 24-year-old back-row forward Lamont Bryan from London Broncos on a two-year contract.
The German-born Jamaican international started his RL career at South London Storm before joining London Broncos six years ago. He has made 33 appearances for Harlequins/London Broncos.
Rovers coach Daryl Powell (pictured) said: "Lamont is a dynamic back rower who I believe will become a firm favourite at Featherstone Rovers. His ability to break tackles is excellent and I believe he will complement our current back rowers very well. I look forward to working with him over the next two years as we constantly seek to improve our standards."
Bryan said: "I'm really looking forward to joining Featherstone Rovers. I know Featherstone is only a small town but I know it's got a lot of heart. I've heard lots of positive things about Daryl Powell and he has done a terrific job so far at the club. I'm hoping that I can contribute to an already very good team and look forward to meeting my new teammates."
Featherstone chief executive Craig Poskitt said: "We are building a very strong squad for 2013 and Lamont is a great signing. He is an ambitious player who recognises that Featherstone Rovers is a quality environment to develop. We are looking forward to welcoming Lamont to the club in pre-season. Our squad for 2013 and beyond is taking shape and we hope to make another announcement early next week."
