FEATHERSTONE Rovers have sold more than 2,000 tickets for Sunday’s Northern Rail Cup final against Halifax at Blackpool.

Tickets will remain on sale directly from Rovers until 4pm on Wednesday.

Rovers chief executive Craig Poskitt (pictured) said: “We have sold over 2,000 tickets for the final but we would like as many Rovers fans at Bloomfield Road as possible to cheer on the team.

“We aware that a significant number of supporters have purchased tickets directly from the RFL before we qualified for the final so we are looking forward to seeing the Rovers fans out in force.

“Tickets will be on sale directly from the club until 4pm on Wednesday then we have to return the tickets back to the RFL ticket office. The perfect opportunity to get your tickets is on Tuesday evening for our Northern Rail Cup final celebration evening.”

The celebration evening starts at 7.30pm in the clubhouse and will include a question and answer session with head coach Daryl Powell, club captain Stuart Dickens, chairman Mark Campbell and Mr Poskitt.
