Featherstone Rovers have suffered a setback with the loss of in-form winger Scott Turner who will be sidelined for six to eight weeks with ankle ligament trouble.
The 29-year-old former Sheffield Eagles player sustained the injury in the second-half of last Saturday’s 42-16 defeat against London Broncos at the Summer Bash.
Turner had earlier scored his tenth try this season against London to take his tally to eight touchdowns in the last five matches.
Rovers coach Jon Sharp said: “Scott Turner had been playing really well but someone else will now get an opportunity to play.”
Rovers are still without prop Andy Bostock (broken hand) and centre Chris Ulugia (ankle). They are both set to be out for a further two weeks.
Sharp will be checking on the availability of dual-registered Leeds Rhinos players.
The Rhinos host Super League rivals Leigh Centurions at Headingley tomorrow evening (Friday).
