Hide AdTrinity had struggled to get out of their own half but responded well to going behind but were unable to make a mark on the scoreboard.
Leah Jones added a second Tigers try before Eva Izumi and Lucy Eastwood dotted down to give the Tigers a 16-0 advantage at the half-time whistle.
After a shaky start to the second period, Roche scored a brilliant solo try to claim Castleford's first points since the interval.
Dodd added her second try of the afternoon and then Shona Hoyle powered through the line to race 30 metres and score. Roche's conversion was the first successful one of the afternoon.
