The ongoing success of the Elite Rugby Academy run by former Castleford Tigers team-mates Ryan Hudson and Danny Orr has led to a new training night being launched from next week.
The academy is adding a fourth night with weekly Wednesday sessions planned at the Castleford Academy sports fields to add to Monday and Thursday evenings at the same venue and Tuesdays at Kings School, Pontefract.
Ex-Tigers captain Ryan Hudson said: “The Elite Rugby Academy is growing at a rapid rate, so much so we have had to launch another night starting on Wednesday due to us having lots of kids on a waiting list.
“We are currently working with amateur clubs and supplying them with outstanding skill awards which in return gives the kids free sessions to the Elite Rugby Academy to enhance their skills.
“Our mission is the same as always, to inspire, educate and motivate every child that comes to us and help them achieve their true potential.
“We have some outstanding young players currently and to see some of them play in Super League in five to seven years time would be the icing on the cake.”
Sessions at Castleford Academy are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 5.30-6.30pm 4-7 years and 6.30-7.30pm 8-14 years.
Sessions at Kings School, Pontefract are on Tuesdays - 5.30-6.30pm 4-6 years, 6.30-7.30pm 7-9 years and 7.30-8.30pm 10-14 years.
