LINDRICK GC's Bailey Gill placed sixth as the Duncan Putter was restricted to 36 holes because of severe weather conditions at Southerndown GC.
Gill shot rounds of 71 70 to finish four back of the host club’s Kyle Harman (70 67).
Wath GC’s Nick Poppleton tied for 13th (70 73) two shots adrift of Gill.
Phil Tomkinson, the Yorkshire Order of Merit title-winner for 2015, from Moortown GC, shared 39th place on 149 (75 74).
His club-mate Ben Firth, who placed second in the Order of Merit, recorded a 153 aggregate (76 77) to finish just inside the top 50.
Putting became impossible on the downland links, with golf balls blowing off the green on holes two, six, 10, and 11.
Tournament Director John Peters and his team of referees, tried to keep play going, but at 10.30 the decision was made to suspend play and call the players back in.
After looking at the forecast for the remainder of the day and the prospect of the winds actually increasing, the decision was made to abandon the final two rounds.
Yorkshire will have six players competing in the Peter McEvoy Trophy at Copt Heath GC on Wednesday and Thursday.
