On Sunday, he clocked up more time on the bike as he took part in a steady 65-mile ride around Carlton, Beal and Birkin.
Upton Cycling Club’s Paul Appleton took second place at Monday evening’s 8.113 mile time trial on part of the O25C course at Pollington & Heckmondwike with a time of 19 mins 1 sec.
