CASTLEFORD Tigers hooker Ryan Hudson will not be charged with biting England international Sam Tomkins after the Rugby Football League decided there was insufficient evidence.

The Wigan full-back made the claim during his side's 40-16 Super League win over the Tigers at the DW Stadium last Friday.

The incident was put on report by referee George Stokes and the RFL's match-review panel requested more information from Wigan before deciding whether to bring any charges.

A spokesman said: "The RFL compliance manager has deemed that there is insufficient evidence to support an allegation of biting by Castleford Tigers hooker Ryan Hudson in a Stobart Super League round 22 match against Wigan Warriors."
