Hemsworth mixed martial arts star Scott Askham is back in the octagon this Saturday in a top of the bill contest taking place at Sheffield Arena.

Askham is looking to bounce back after successive narrow defeats saw him released by the UFC and he is involved in one of the biggest all British fights in MMA history when up against Luke Barnatt at ACB 70.

There is no love lost between the two British rivals who have been rivals for some time with both competing in the middleweight division. Barnatt recently moved up to light-heavyweight, but wanted one more fight at the lower weight to have a go at Askham.

He has been the higher ranked fighter, but proud Yorkshireman Askham is on home soil and determined to deliver a crowd pleasing performance in front of the “Askham Army” who will be out in force at the Arena.

In response to some big words from Barnatt about what he is going to do, the Hemsworth fighter said: ‘“He doesn’t know what he’s talking about! He’s the one who’s been knocked out twice and I’ve never been finished.

“This fight has been a long time coming and I’m coming to take his head clean off!”

Tickets for this much awaited clash are available from www.sheffield arena.co.uk or ring 0114 2565656.
