SUPER sub Brad Grayson snatched an equaliser for Frickley Athletic to give the Blues a fortunate share of the spoils at Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Evo-Stik Premier Division on Tuesday night.
Peter Rinkcavage’s men were rarely in the picture in the first half and fell behind 16 minutes in when Jack Muldoon opened the scoring for the hosts.
Frickley owed much to goalkeeper Stephen Dickinson, who produced a string of fine saves to limit Steels to just the one first-half goal.
The South Elmsall side upped their game after the break, especially after the introduction of Grayson.
And it was the former Doncaster Rovers man who gave the Blues a point when he fired in a James Ashmore corner with 15 minutes to go.
Frickley almost snatched all three points late on but Stocksbridge stopper Ben Scott made good stops to deny Ben Turner and Grayson from the rebound.
