After the distraction of the FA Trophy it is back to the bread and butter games for Frickley Athletic this Saturday when they travel to play Matlock Town in the Evo-Stik Premier League.

Karl Rose’s men are safely in mid-table, but have dropped into the bottom half and will be looking to climb again from their current 14th position when they take on opponents two points and two places below them from two matches more.

With four wins Matlock are strong at home, but the Blues have been impressive on their travels this season with four wins and only two defeats from their eight away league games so far.

Blues forward Zeph Thomas and centre-back Jameel Ible are available before going to play for St Kitts-Nevis against Andorra and Estonia, but will then miss the following two matches.

Frickley are also in action next Tuesday in the first round of the Doodson Sport Cup when they are away to fellow Premier League side Grantham Town (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup tie against Phoenix has been set for Wednesday, November 18 at the SW Jackson Utilities Stadium.

Frickley were drawn away, but the tie has been switched due to Phoenix not having floodlights. It will kick off at 7.45pm.
