FRICKLEY Athletic boss Karl Rose has revealed the club has received approaches for three of their key players in the last week.
Gavin Allott and Jimmy Ghaichem, as well as one Blues player Rose has yet to talk to about the offer, have been subject to seven-day approaches.
Rose is confident the trio will ignore the offers, however, and continue plying their trade at Westfield Lane into the new year.
“I’ve spoke to both Gav and Jimmy and they’ve told me they don’t want to leave,” said Rose.
“It’s about the sixth time someone has made an approach for Gav so it was no surprise someone came in for him again.
“I’ve still to talk to the other lad but hopefully he will follow the same line as Gav and Jimmy and stay at the club.”
He continued: “It’s good that our players are getting noticed because it shows that they, and us, are doing well.”
North Ferriby United are understood to be the team interested in Allott, the Blues’ top-scorer this season.`
