FRICKLEY Athletic continued their superb home form with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Nantwich Town.
Luke Hinsley scored twice and Gavin Allott also netted as the Blues bagged all of their goals in a dominant first half.
It provided Karl Rose’s men with a six straight home win in all competitions and moved them up to 17th in the league table.
Less than two minutes had elapsed when Hinsley intercepted a pass to race down the pitch and beat Town goalkeeper Jon Brain for the opener.
It set the tone for the rest of the half and Tom Woodhead’s long pass was headed on by Allott for Hinsley to rifle in his second.
The Blues’ leading scorer then bagged one for himself ten minutes before the break, beating two defenders and then Brain with his neat effort.
Frickley had calls for a penalty turned down by the officials five minutes after the restart and Hinsley and Jake Picton came close to adding to the Blues’ tally but the damage had already been done.
