Upton United U13s have certainly had their shooting boots on this season after smashing a Selby Junior Football League goals record.

The Upton Primary School-based team have hit 104 goals in just 14 league matches so far this season to put their name in the record books.

The record came after a thumping 8-0 victory over Rothwell recently and United still have two league games to play to extend their goals tally for the campaign.

Upton also hit five to lift the Selby League Cup with an emphatic 5-0 win over Thorpe United.

Kelan Burton and Cameron Scott scored two goals apiece, with Reece Twigg also getting on the scoresheet.
