Hey scored plenty of goals in his first spell with the club, in the Northern Counties Premier Division and then the Pitching-In Northern Premier League.

He suffered a serious injury towards the end of his first season in the NPL and missed out on Colls' play-off final defeat. Hey then went on to feature for Eccleshill before joining Brighouse Town in the summer of 2020.

In an interview with the Colls' website, Rouse said: "We obviously have a clear idea of how we want to play and want we want the team to produce each week but the biggest thing we want to see is passion, desire and a will to work for each other and the club."
