Barnsley Football Club have announced a new commercial sponsorship with local car company Burrows Kia who have become the club’s official team training wear sponsors.
Burrows and the club signed a three-year deal on Friday which will see the Burrows name displayed on the front and back of the training wear with the KIA logo displayed on the sleeves.
The Reds’ commercial sales manager Linton Brown said: “We are delighted to announce Burrows Kia as the new Official Team Training Wear sponsors of Barnsley Football Club.
“This lucrative three-year deal will see the Burrows KIA logo appear on the first-team and management staff day-to-day training wear.
“On behalf of everyone connected with Barnsley Football Club, I would take this opportunity to thank Steve Burrows and Burrows Kia for all their fantastic commitment and support of our Club.”
Steve Burrows, owner of Burrows Motor Company said: “As a company we pride ourselves on our local community involvement and this new venture with Barnsley Football Club reaffirms this commitment.
We’re delighted to announce this partnership and we’re really excited for the coming season.”
Ticket prices have also been confirmed for the club’s Capital One Cup first-round tie against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Tuesday, August 11.
Adult tickets will cost £12 while seniors and under-21s will pay £8. Those under the age of 16 will pay £2 for the match which kicks off at 7.45pm.
