Polish international goalkeeper Sebastian Malkowski has signed a new deal to stay with Frickley Athletic for at least the rest of this season and the next as well.
Malkowski is rated one of the best stoppers in the Evo-Stik League and has proved a popular member of the Blues squad since 2015, recently making his 100th appearance for the club.
In his short time so far at Frickley manager Spencer Fearn has already seen what a quality keeper he has and reckons it is an important deal for the club.
He said: “We are delighted that Seb has agreed a deal that means he will be with us for at least this season and next.
“He is a tremendous goalkeeper and it’s great news for all concerned.”
Frickley, meanwhile, have added another striker to their squad after signing Carl Stewart, who previously played for the club briefly at the start of last season.
On his signing, Fearn said: “In Carl we have a proven striker at this level.
“He’s a hard working lad and will fit in well.
“He’s keen to get going here and will be in the squad for the Alvechurch trip next week.”
