After a setback with the home defeat to Barwell, Frickley Athletic are looking to get straight back to winning ways at Ramsbottom United this Saturday.
Despite the 3-1 loss Karl Rose’s men remain in 17th place in the Evo-Stik Premier League and should not have had their confidence dented too much as they had chances to continue their unbeaten start to 2015 and were unlucky to concede two goals in the last 10 minutes.
And with a victory in their last away game they travel with some confidence to Ramsbottom, who are just three points and three places ahead of them in the table.
The Blues’ away game at Blyth Spartans, meanwhile, has been moved from February 17 to Tuesday, March 3 (7.45pm). This is due to Blyth’s involvement in the Northumberland Senior Cup.
Frickley’s Westfield Lane has had its National League System ‘C’ Grade confirmed by the FA.
The ground was visited by the FA and Evo-Stik League ground grading team at the end of October and after correcting a minor issue the FA have confirmed that the ground has retained the grade required for Step 3 football.
The club thanked everyone who helped with ground works, mainly over the summer, as without such help it would be difficult to maintain the standard required.
