The Evo-Stik Premier League has announced a number of fixture changes affecting Frickley Athletic in the next few months.

The Blues’ home game against Halesowen Town, which was scheduled for this Saturday, will now take place on Saturday, January 31.

Karl Rose’s men have not been left without a game, however, as they will now travel to play Belper Town on Saturday.

It is another key game for the Blues with their hosts currently bottom of the table, eight points behind Athletic and seven places below them in the Premier Division.

Ian Clarkson is again running a supporters coach. It will depart from North Elmsall at 12.45pm and set off back straight after the game. Cost is £10 a person and places can be booked by contacting Penny Wall on 07967434285.

Following Blyth Spartans’ giantkilling win away at Hartlepool in the FA Cup on Friday their game against Frickley at Westfield Lane has been moved.

The Blues are now due to host Blyth on Tuesday, January 6. However, if Blyth’s third round tie is switched to Monday for TV then the Evo-Stik League game will again have to be changed.

The league have also moved Frickley’s trip to Ashton United, which now takes place on Saturday, February 21.
