Hemsworth MW climbed into the top six in the Toolstation NCE Premier Division when they banged in the goals again in a home game with Worksop Town on Tuesday night.
Up against mid-table opponents, they made it four straight league wins and took their goal tally to 18 in those games with a 5-3 success.
Worksop scored first through Mitcham Husbands, but Nash Connolly equalised two minutes later and Joe Taylor made it 2-1 before half-time, scoring on his first team debut for Wells after being promoted from the under 21s.
It stayed that way until Connolly came up with his second effort on 74 minutes and Hemsworth quickly followed up with two more. Luke Danville soon made it 4-1 and Connolly then completed his hat-trick.
Worksop kept going and scored two consolations through Jamie Robinson and Husbands, with a penalty.
Hemsworth were in winning form last Saturday when coming away from Liversedge with a deserved 2-0 success.
They created plenty of chances again, but were guilty of some poor finishing and had to settle for just adding two to their tally.
Richard Collier put them ahead on 35 minutes with a decent strike and although they controlled large parts of the contest it remained 1-0 until 10 minutes from time when Sam Jones found the back of the net to seal the win.
Hemsworth still have six league games to play and are also still in the NCE League Cup, at the quarter-finals stage.
They are at home to Thackley this Saturday and travel to play Athersley Recreation next Wednesday as they bid to finish as high up the Premier table as they can.
