Australian winger Ryan Williams has re-joined Barnsley on a two-year deal after moving to Oakwell from Fulham for an undisclosed fee.
Williams, 21, made six appearances during a loan spell with the South Yorkshire side last season and is the seventh player to sign for Lee Johnson’s side since the transfer window opened.
The midfielder, who made only three appearances in three years for the Londoners, is capable of playing of playing on either flank.
Williams has also spent time on loan with Gillingham and Oxford United and has been capped at under 20 and under 23 level by Australia.
Manager Lee Johnson said: “Ryan Williams brings to the conclusion one of the irons in the fire that we currently have when it comes to recruitment for next season.”
Williams could make his debut against Chesterfield in Barnsley’s first game of the season on Saturday, August 8.
