FRICKLEY Athletic have secured the services of five more players ahead of the new Evo-Stik Premier League campaign.
Lincoln Adams, Gavin Smith, Leon Henry, Lee Bennett and Kelvin Bleau have all put pen-to-paper to bolster the Blues squad.
Frickley manager Peter Rinkcavage took the decision on the quintet less than a week before the new campaign after assessing them over the summer.
Smith and Henry were both at the Tech5 Stadium last season and have agreed to a further stay in South Elmsall.
Adams has featured in a number of summer friendly matches for the club and has impressed Rinkcavage enough to earn a new deal.
Bennett and Bleau both require international clearance before formally completing a move after plying their trade overseas in Sweden.
All five featured in Frickley’s 3-1 victory at Evo-Stik Division 1 North side Wakefield FC at the weekend, with substitute Henry amongst the goalscorers.
And they could all be in contention to feature in Saturday’s Premier Division opener against Burscough at South Elmsall.
