FEATHERSTONE Rovers have arranged a celebration night to mark the club’s first appearance in the Northern Rail Cup final against Halifax at Blackpool, on July 29.
The celebration will be held in the clubhouse on Tuesday, July 24 (7.30pm start).
It will include a question and answer with head coach Daryl Powell, club captain Stuart Dickens, chairman Mark Campbell and chief executive Craig Poskitt.
From 7.45pm all the first-team players will be in attendance. The club will be selling an exclusive range of merchandise in readiness for the final.
The club will also be unveiling the final computerised images of the re-development of Bigfellas Stadium for which they are awaiting planning permission.
Throughout the evening, the highlights of the season so far will be shown. There will be a special drinks promotion on offer.
There will be the chance to win a 2013 season ticket for just £1 a raffle. There will also be an auction of special items.
Rovers chief executive Craig Poskitt (pictured) said: “Our supporters have been patiently waiting for a trip to Blackpool for several years now.
“The evening will provide supporters the opportunity to ask Daryl Powell and Stuart Dickens their thoughts on the final as well as meeting the players who have got us there. The images of the proposed ground re-developments look absolutely fantastic and we are looking forward to exclusively unveiling them on the evening.”
