FEATHERSTONE Rovers are in full swing preparing for the official shirt launch of the 2013 home playing shirt on Thursday, December 13.

As announced last week, the club has announced a record sponsorship deal with Italian technical sportswear manufacturer Macron which will see the manufacturer supply Rovers with playing kits for all teams at the club, replica shirts, training wear, leisurewear and merchandise for the next two years.

On the launch night at the Bigfellas Stadium the playing kit will be modelled by the first team squad and fans can get their hands on a replica shirt on the night in time for Christmas as well as being able to buy a new range of leisurewear and 2013 membership.

Chief executive Craig Poskitt said “We are really pleased with the 2013 home shirt.

“As well as the record sponsorship deal with Macron we have worked hard on all sponsorship deals on the kit which is a massive boost to the club.

“Sponsorship in 2013 on the kit has increased by 100 per cent, which is a fantastic achievement in the current economic climate.

“We still have three new sponsors to announce who will be on the playing kit and one renewal of an existing sponsor. We would like to thank all our business partners for the support and commitment they have shown the club.

“I’m positive that the home shirt will prove popular and look forward to revealing it to our loyal supporters on December 13. The deal means we will have a constant flow of replica shirts, leisurewear and other merchandise on sale throughout the year which has not always been the case in recent years.”
