Castleford Tigers are hoping to have injured trio Junior Moors, Jesse Sene-Lefao and Adam Milner available for Sunday’s game against Warrington Wolves at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
Milner missed last week’s win over St Helens with a shin injury picked up in the previous game at Leigh, while Moors and Sene-Lefao played, but had to go off with head injuries and have been unable to train until they pass compulsory head tests.
On their chances of playing this Sunday, head coach Daryl Powell said: “We’re hopeful Junior Moors and Jesse Sene-Lefao will be okay, but it’s always hard to know with head knocks.
“They will go through the protocol of the head test and hopefully they will come through it. There’s no guarantees of course, they need to get through it, but fingers crossed they will be okay. We won’t know until later in the week.
“There were no more injuries to come from the game. Unless anything jumps up at us it’s just the head knocks and Kieran Gill (ACL injury) that will cause us some trouble.
“We’ll have a look at Adam Milner as we go through the week to see if he is okay to play after his leg injury. We’re hopeful he can play.”
