FRICKLEY Athletic have been rewarded for achieving a Fair Play improvement target set by the Evo-Stik Premier League last summer.
The Blues were one of 32 clubs set the target following a relatively poor overall discipline record in the previous season.
The League set aside £4000 for clubs to improve their discipline and all 32 hit their respective targets - claiming £125 each for their efforts.
The South Elmsall side averaged 2.205 discipline points in the 2009-10 campaign and were told to get their average below 2 points per game last term.
And they managed a creditable 23 per cent reduction in their discipline points to average just 1.7 points per game.
The improvement saw the club finish 12th in the Fair Play table with 67 cautions and two red cards over the course of the campaign.
