FRICKLEY Athletic will look to book a place in their second cup semi-final of the season tonight when they host Stocksbridge Park Steels in the quarter-final of the Sheffield Senior Cup (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Blues are already in the last four of the Doodson Sport Cup and boss Peter Rinkcavage hopes to continue Frickley’s cup success against his former club at the Tech5 Stadium tonight.

“It’s another game that we’re going in to and we’re looking to win,” said the Blues manager.

“We’re already in the semi-final of one cup so to make two semi-finals would be fantastic for the club and we’ll be aiming to achieve that.”

It’ll be the third time the teams have met this season. Frickley won 2-0 at home in the league and drew 1-1 in their away fixture.

As well as cup progress, Frickley will also be looking to get back on-track following a first defeat in eight games suffered at high-flying Chester on Saturday.
