Featherstone Rovers are hoping for another bumper crowd for their second home match in the Super 8s Qualifiers on Sunday when they face Leigh.

Their first home fixture against last year’s Super League champions Leeds Rhinos two weeks ago attracted a record summer era attendance of 6,671 at a Featherstone match.

Sunday’s opponents Leigh have one of the largest away followings in the Championship. This season’s league meeting between the teams at Big Fellas Stadium in April was attended by 2,731.

The Centurions have been allocated the Volunteer and Strata Homes stands this weekend.

Admission is adults £20, concessions £13 and juniors £5. Tickets are available from the club shop at the Rovers ground today (Thursday) and tomorrow from 9am to 5pm and on Saturday between 10am and noon.

The fanzone, situated on the car park between the Cappers Bar and the Volunteer Stand, will again be open at Sunday’s game from 12.30pm.

Activities will include a bouncy castle, face painting, rugby kicking game, giveaways, tattoos and dance displays.
