GAVIN Allott scored a hat-trick to guide Frickley Athletic into the next round of the FA Cup with an impressive 3-1 win at Chorley.

Allott scored two penalties, in the 37th and 45th minutes, to put the Blues 2-0 up in Lancashire against their Evo-Stik Premier Divsion rivals.

A Lee Stratford own goal got Chorley back in the contest but Allott completed his treble in the 66th minute to see the Blues through to the Third Qualifying Round and make it back-to-back wins for Karl Rose's side.

The Blues will also pocket £4,500 in prize money for their progression. The draw for the next round will take place on Monday.
