Rovers went ahead when Dani Bound dived over from close range and Natalie Gilmour converted.
Hannah Bairstow made it 10-0 by scoring a well taken try out wide but Bradford hit back with two unconverted tries.
Shortly before half time, Featherstone struck an important blow when Katie O’Toole scored with a great scoot from acting half back to bag the first of her three tries and Gilmour added the extras.
Rovers were quickly into their stride in the second half and shot further ahead with tries by Deb Hodgkinson and Lyndsay Anfield.
Strong runs by Emma Slowe, Andrea Dobson, Sarah Hewart and Hodgkinson split open Bradford’s defence.
As Bradford tired Featherstone attacked relentlessly and were rewarded by two further tries from O’Toole and Gilmour’s fifth conversion. Bairstow went in for her second try before hard-running winger Michelle Greenwood grabbed the final touchdown.
Slowe was voted player of the match by RFL officials.
