Featherstone Rovers have signed Hull FC’s 20-year-old half-back Jordan Abdull on a one-month loan deal.
Abdull has made 27 Super League appearances for Hull including two this season.
He will return to Hull at the end of May.
Hull coach Lee Radford said: “The loan move presents an opportunity for Jordan to play at a high standard under a coach who I have personally played for, who will give him good guidance.
“Jordan stepped up for us twice this year and did well. He didn’t have much game time prior to making his first-team appearances which won’t have helped him.
“Now he has the chance to go and play consistently at a good level and find some form.”
Abdull made his Super League debut for Hull in 2014, a season in which he won the club’s under 19 player of the year award.
Rovers coach Jon Sharp said, “ I’ve followed Jordan’s progress very closely over the years and he is a mature player showing skill and poise way beyond his years, playing in what is a pivotal position on the pitch.
“He has a big future in the game and I’d like to thank Lee Radford and Motu Tony for their help in making this happen.”
