SOUTH Elmsall couple Karina Menzies and Christopher Wall were married at St Nicholas Church, in Gosforth, Newcastle.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Jeanette and Denis Clegg, of Gosforth, and the groom is the youngest son of Melvyn and Christine Wall, of Knightscroft Parade, South Elmsall.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white, strapless dress with diamante and pearl detail and a full-length train.

She carried pink roses with diamante and pearls.

The bride’s best friend, Kelly Rowell, was chief bridesmaid.

The bride’s sister, Rebekah Clegg, the groom’s daughter, Lacey Wall, the bride’s cousin, Chelsea Stephenson, and the groom’s nieces, Kristie, Kiea and Demi Ward, were bridesmaids.

They wore baby-pink taffeta dresses and carried white roses with diamantes and pearls.

The groom’s brother, Darren Wall, and the groom’s brother-in-law, Stephen Ward, shared the best man duties.

The couple’s son, Harvey Wall, was pageboy and the ushers were the bride’s brother, Ryan Clegg, and the bride’s cousins, Adam Stephenson and Philip Cannell.

A reception was held at the Marriott Hotel in Newcastle and the couple honeymooned in Dubai.

Karina, who is originally from Newcastle, and Christopher, who is a carpet fitter, will live on Moorhouse View, South Elmsall.
