Tonight’s game between Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Leeds Rhinos has been called off due to snow.

The clash was due to take place at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium, on Doncatser Road, Belle Vue, at 8pm tonight (Friday).

But it has now been re-arranged for Sunday, at 3.30pm.

A statement on the cub’s website said: “Due to the heavy snowfall overnight and this morning, tonight’s game against Leeds Rhinos has been postponed and will now take place on Sunday 24th March at 3.30pm at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

“All supporters who have purchased tickets for the game are advised that they are still valid for Sunday’s rearranged fixture.

“We look forward to welcoming both sets of supporters to the game on Sunday for the eagerly anticipated West Yorkshire derby.”

Saturday’s scheduled under 19′s fixture against the Rhinos is also postponed.

A new date has yet to be set.
