Two people arrested in connection with Pontefract armed robbery
Police said a group of four men - one with a firearm - entered the Kingston Jewellers on Ropergate at around 2.35pm on Thursday.
They threatened staff in the store before making off with a large quantity of jewellery in a burgundy coloured Rover 75 estate car, which was later found burnt out on Wakefield Road at the junction with Jubilee Way.
