Two injured in midnight house blaze

Two males had to be treated following a house blaze at the weekend.

Crews were called to Mountbatten Crescent in Outwood shortly after midnight on Saturday, November 27, after the fire started in the ground floor living room of the property.

Engines from Wakefield, Ossett and Rothwell attended.

The two occupants were treated by paramedic due to smoke inhalation.
