Two cut free after car collided with parked vehicles in Sainsbury’s, Wakefield
A silver Vauxhall Astra collided with a BMW and a Volkswagen Polo and landed on its side in the car park, close to the front of the Ings Road supermarket.
Police, firefighters and two ambulances were called to the scene just before 3pm on Thursday.

Hide AdTwo people, believed to be a man and a woman, were trapped in the Astra and had to be cut free by crews from Wakefield Fire Station.
They were taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment for minor injuries.
Part of the Sainsbury’s car park, close to the cash machines, was closed for just under an hour, causing traffic problems on Ings Road and Denby Dale Road.
A police spokesman said officers would be examining CCTV and speaking to witnesses to establish the circumstances of the incident.

Sainsbury’s confirmed the incident had happened but declined to comment to the Express.
