Solar eclipse time lapse at Wakefield College
Darkness descended over the district as the first solar eclipse in 16 years hit the UK.
Pupils and teachers gathered at Wakefield College to witness the event this morning.
They filmed a time lapse as a shadow cast over the college at around 9.30am.
The last time the UK witnessed an almost total eclipse was in 1999.
