KINSLEY youngsters had a cracking good time on their last day of term.
The children, from Kinsley Primary School, enjoyed a number of Easter-themed activities, including egg decorating and bonnet making competitions and an Easter singalong and performance in front of their parents during assembly.
The egg competition winners were chosen by the members of the school council and the winners of the bonnet designing contest were picked by the governing body.
Headteacher Paul Birdsall said: “The children made their bonnets at home with their parents and they came up with some really fantastic designs. Then in school the youngsters decorated their Easter eggs and the designs were wonderful and very creative.
“We had first, second and third prizes for each year group and it was very difficult to pick the winners because they were all of such a high quality. The children had a lovely last day of term.”
