Two vans were broken into on the same night in Ryhill.
Thieves bent the back doors of a Ford Transit van which was parked on Mulberry Place on Monday night.
The van was empty and nothing was taken.
On the same night, another van parked on Mulberry Avenue was also broken into when its doors were bent open.
A large number of power tools were taken.
Insp Richard Clare, from the Rural neighbourhood police team (NPT), said: “The thefts happened on the same night, in the same area and the offenders used to the same method to break into the vans.
“It is highly likely it was the same suspects.”
Anyone with information should call the Rural NPT on 101.
