The list of candidates standing in this year's Wakefield Council election has been announced.
One seat in each of the district's 21 wards is being contested in the election, which will be held on Thursday, May 3.
A total of 74 candidates will stand across the wards - their names and parties are listed above.
Labour currently hold 53 seats on the council, seven are held by Conservatives, there are two independents and UKIP have one.
One Conservative, 17 Labour, one UKIP and two independent seats are being contested.
