Police search for missing man goes on

Police are continuing to search for a missing South Kirkby man who hasn’t been seen for almost three weeks.

Ian Hickin, 42, went missing from Pinderfields Hospital on Thursday, January 23.

He was spotted on CCTV leaving the hospital that evening.

Later he was seen on an Arriva bus service to Portobello, just after 11pm.

At the time he was wearing a white polo shirt with a dark collar, a light-coloured shirt and a waist-length hooded black jacket.

He was also wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the leg and a white emblem on the left leg, and black shoes.

Mr Hickin is silm and 5ft 5ins ins tall.

Det Insp Claire Doyles, of Wakefield District CID, said: ““As time passes we grow more concerned for Ian who is not a well man.
